As always, we much appreciate volunteers as our community theatre could not survive without them. Volunteers get to see plays for free and we have other special treats during the year to let them know how much we value their contributions.

office job descriptions --
• labeling mail-outs •
label and sort postcards, Star Tracks newsletter and envelopes.
(2-4 hours as needed with a group)
• deliver posters around town •
put up posters for WCT plays (30 mins to 2 hrs)
production job descriptions--
• painters' assistants •
help paint a production set (2-4 hours per show, as your time permits)
• set builders •
help put up flats and other set needs (4-8 hrs per show, as your time permits)
• pr assistants •
help write newspaper articles, public service announcements (PSA's) for the radio and brochures (needed for each production, as your time permits)
• prop assistants •
help find the items on the prop list for a production
(2-10 hours per show, as your time permits)
• sound operators •
run sound (CD) for a production (2 weeks before the opening of a show through closing night)
• light operators •
focused individuals to operate the light board for the run of a production (2 weeks before the opening of a show through closing night)
• costume assistants/seamstresses •
help find costumes or sew costumes/alterations as needed.
(2-10 hours per show, as your time permits)
facility job description --
• bakers •
to bake delicious desserts for intermission at WCT performances (1-3 hours depending on what you like to make)
• house managers •
to open the house at a performance of a play, make coffee, hand out programs, tear tickets and sell desserts atperformances
(1 hour before the start of a show through the end of that performance plus you get to see the show!)
• facility clean up •
come to the Sunday strike of a show and help the cast and crew take down the set and clean up the theatre. We also have special clean up days at various times of the year when extra help is much appreciated. (2-4 hours)
